“ We visited last weekend with our 7 year old along with us. The area is spacious and there are books and games to use. There's food in house and you order on your phone and pick up at the window. I had a chop cheese and it was delicious! It was a unique concept with ground beef like a deconstructed burger. There is no kids menu but appetizers a child might like such as chicken tenders and mini corn dogs. We will definitely be back! We did not see any dogs but I hear it's dog friendly inside. There's also a patio outside. ”

“ 2nd Shift is my favorite brewery in STL! It's super cozy inside, and they have a great selection of fun flavors. I definitely recommend getting a flight so you can try a bunch of them. Simon the brewery cat is also AMAZING, and all the bartenders i've interacted with are great! ”

“ Came here to work in the afternoon one day. Lots of seating inside and outside. Unfortunately, not many outlets for use so if you need to charge your laptop or other devices you are limited on tables with outlet access. WiFi worked great. I ordered a flight so I could try multiple beers. I love that they have some really unique flavors like the Pickle Katy - I love pickles so I had to try it, can't say I'll get it again so the flight pour was perfect to get a taste of it. My favorite was the Brewligans IPA. Food is available for purchase but I wasn't super hungry. Eventually I ordered chips for a snack and was a tad disappointed to see it was just a bag of chips rather than house made, it may have mentioned that on the menu but I don't recall seeing it. Had to add a pic of the goodies available in the ladies bathroom. I always love when restaurants have these items available! Cheers! ”

“ Tucked away right off Manchester Ave, this awesome little hidey hole is so much fun to grab a brew. Huge garage door that opens and makes the whole place outdoors. Funky couches next to classic retro pinball machines, just a really cool vibe. ”

“ I visited 2nd Shift for a trivia night that was very busy and the staff was able to keep up. The sandwich shop did run out of food and stop serving which was unfortunate. I ordered the flight and definitely recommend the Hibiscus and Vol. 4. There are plenty of options for anyone wanting to try unique flavor profiles of beer. And they had cocktails for those that would like other options. ”

“ Awesome beer, friendly service and people, tons of games to play and a comfortable atmosphere. We played bingo here this past Sunday and it was a great time, good tempo to the calling and fun prizes! They have central state sandwiches available for food in there now. We tried two sammies and both were pretty good. Love when they have special eateries come and do popups. Went to the Cousin's Lobster one over the Summer and it was awesome! ”

You can't go wrong with the Firefly, and I even found an IPA I liked - usually my least favorite. 2nd Shifts gets brownie points from me for being woman owned too! We'll definitely be back to check out the Biergarten and play some more family games! ”

“ Orders: Gimme S'more Oatmeal Stout | Art of Neurosis IPA Love this local brewery in all seasons, but esp happy to bask in it's inflatable holiday glory as of late! Big props to the massive snowman they have supervising the dining/drinking area. Takes a big space to house a big snowman like that & hear you me, they've got it! Lots of outdoor seating in the summer & always bomb brew. Never met an IPA I didn't like here!! Xo! ”

“ I recently had three different beers from 2nd Shift Brewing. All of them were very enjoyable and fun to drink! Technical Ecstasy was the first beer that Steve and I enjoyed from this brewery. It was a Czech Pilsner with a nice clean, light body and a fine hoppy and floral flavor profile to it. The next was the Half Hit Stout. A bit of a lighter stout which we like with a cinnamon and roasty like flavor. A nice stout to have if you don't want anything too heavy. The final beer was my favorite and this was a wheat beer called And Look! It Has Pockets! a very fine flavor profile perfectly balanced and not too heavy handed with any one ingredient. Pleasurable flavor notes include coriander, orange and clove. Also comes along clean tasting too just like the other two beers we enjoyed. Fun beer experience with this brewery which is what Steve and I always look for. ”
